FALL SKILLS CLINIC

Saturday October 2nd

This Clinic is designed for inexperienced curlers to assist
them in learning and practicing all the Basics of Curling.

For prospective new Club members - one can sign up for
the entire clinic and practice all the following week for an $80.
fee (which will be refunded, if one decides to join the Club).

Included in the Clinic will be the proper delivery of the
rock, etiquette, sweeping, and much more.

BASICS OF CURLING:

Two four-person rinks (teams) compete, with each rink throwing (sliding) 8 rocks per "end" of play.

Teams alternate turns, and each player throws (slides) two stones. Each end starts with the leads (first players) alternating throws, followed by the seconds, then the thirds (more commonly known as vice-skips) and finally the skips, who throw last, plot strategy, and study how the rocks move on the ice.
