Happy Spring and almost Summer!
We hope all members are doing well, enjoying the nice weather and continuing to dream of when the ice goes in and we can get back to curling! The Board of Directors are working hard on what the 2022/2023 curling season is going to look like. More information will be out soon.
In the meantime here is what is happening around the club!
Ladies Golf at Lynbrook
We had a great Ladies Golf Day on Sunday, May 29, 2022. 37 ladies had a beautiful weather day, a yummy lunch and great prizes (courtesy of Marcia Bond and Glen Echo Nurseries). Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed a fun day. Thank you to Denise Corner, our money collector and a special thank you to Trudie Phillips for inviting us home for lunch. The Ladies will be giving just over $700 to our club. Awesome! Way to Go Ladies!!!
Provincial Elections!
You may have seen all the action at the club over the last 8 weeks, the Provincial Elections are done and they are currently moving their equipment and furniture out of the building. They last official day of possession of the building is June 24th. This was a great revenue opportunity for the club, along with a large number of people from our community came into the building for pre election voting, through this we have had some inquiries about renting and joining leagues.
