Club Manager - Brian Gordon

Brian Picture 1 225x300

  1. How many years have you been curling?  My first curling experience was in Montreal, in 1997.  I joined the Royal Montreal Curling club and played with my Dad. I took many years off and returned for a couple of years with the Hillsburgh group, and finally joined the club last season.
  2. How many years have you lived in/around Orangeville? We moved from Mississauga to Caledon in 2006. We commuted to Pearson Airport area for 13 years before selling our business, and retiring.
  3. What is your favourite thing about curling? My favourite part is the physical – sweeping.  It’s quite satisfying to know I may have improved the position of a stone.  That, and everything else about the game, like trying to put a stone in a particular spot – on purpose!!
