2022 - 2023 Ontario Trillium Fund Resilient Communities Fund
The Orangeville Curling Club would like to thank and demonstrate appreciation to the Ontario Trillium Fund for their appointment of the Resilient Communities Fund Grant to our Club during the 2022-23 season. With this Grant of $12,300, the Orangeville Curling Club through the existing league programming and new community programming, was able to offer the inclusive and ability-appropriate sport of Curling to community members of all ages and cultures. The active sport club atmosphere was particularly conducive to allowing participants to meet new people and connect with those in their own community. For those new to the sport, the Club was able to provide the equipment necessary to learn, making it particularly accessible to all participants. We were also able to train and hire in-club, enthusiastic instructors, to guide and teach our new participants.
Thank you to Cheyenne Vandervoort, Dave Green and Emma Heimbecker our new club coaches, you ‘Rocked It!’.
