Dear Members,
It certainly has been another unpredictable year! We would like to thank you, the membership, for your patience and understanding, from our late start up, through the closure in January and the reduced number of games played, to the adjustments in protocols as set out by the Government. Your support in keeping our club operating and safe is greatly appreciated.
With the increase in capacity limits and the lifting of vaccine passports coming on March 1st, the Board has made the decision to stay with the status quo. We will continue to require proof of vaccination for anyone entering the building; masking requirements will not change. We feel that we have created an environment that allows for playing and socializing safely and want to continue to keep our members safe for the remained of the season.
Financially, it was going to be a struggle this year. We knew that we were opening with a deficit but were confidant that through our registration membership drive, fundraising events, rentals and government grants, we could meet our financial obligations. Once again thank you.
As we look to the future of the club, we are hopeful that our membership numbers increase, we have full draws once again, and that bonspiels and social events are the norm, not the exception. We value your membership and commitment to the club. We look forward to continuing our relationship for years to come.
